1. What StayBuddy does

StayBuddy helps you understand which UAE residence visa you may qualify for, organises your documents into an application file and reminds you of visa and Emirates ID renewal deadlines.

2. Data we process

• Eligibility answers — nationality, work situation, salary range and family setup you enter during the check. Stored on your device; used to compute your likely visa route.
• Documents you scan — images of documents such as passports, Emirates ID cards and certificates. When you scan, the image is transmitted securely to our processing backend, where an AI service extracts the relevant fields (for example names and expiry dates). Extracted data and documents are stored in your document vault so the app can build your file and calculate deadlines.
• Purchases — subscriptions and one-time purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play and our billing provider RevenueCat. We do not receive or store your payment card details.
• Contact requests — if you ask to be connected with a filing specialist, the details you provide for that request are shared with the relevant service provider to fulfil it.

3. What we do not do

• We do not sell your personal data.
• We do not use the content of your documents for advertising.

4. Storage and security

Data is transmitted encrypted (TLS) and stored with our cloud infrastructure providers. Access is restricted to what is needed to operate the service.

5. Your choices

• You can delete scanned documents in the app at any time.
• You can request deletion of your account and data — see Delete Your Data.
• You can stop using the app at any time; locally stored answers can be removed by resetting or uninstalling the app.

6. Not legal advice

StayBuddy is an information and preparation tool, not a licensed immigration agent. Requirements and fees shown in the app are indicative — always verify with ICP / GDRFA or a licensed centre.
